Held April 6 to 8 in Washington D.C., the two-day CVE Symposium facilitated a global conversation on the “how” aspects of countering global threats of violent extremism.
More than 380 speakers and participants attended the symposium, including leading thinkers, policymakers, digital pioneers, religious leaders, military experts and development practitioners. Online, over 300 viewers watched the discussions and keynote speeches live.
The CVE Symposium received more than 50 unique media stories and more than 4.12 million Twitter impressions on the #CVESymposium hashtag.
After such a successful event, the CVE Community continues to break down silos and engage with key stakeholders across disciplines to integrate CVE efforts around the globe. Only together can we redefine future opportunities for success in addressing one of the most important challenges of our time.
The CVE Community website and its social media channels serve as an online hub to continue the discussion on how to solve the toughest challenges in countering and preventing violent extremism.
