Adam Fivenson

Adam Fivenson is the ICT New Business Specialist at DAI. Mr. Fivenson is focused on opportunities in Latin America, where he is researching mobile phone use among marginalized Honduran youth, and supporting the Initiative for Innovation in Adaptation in Colombia. On the side, he is the co-host of the Technology for Democracy (#tech4dem) happy hour series, which highlights how technology is being used to support civil society, introduce transparency & accountability, and strengthen citizen voice globally. He is also part of Team Vallation, which is designing a hate speech early-warning and response system. Mr. Fivenson has a master’s in international development from Georgetown; and was in the Peace Corps in the Dominican Republic from 2010-2012. He is originally from Traverse City, Michigan.
